Abstract
A acne é uma doença inflamatória causada na pele que afeta a camada pilossebáceos, ela pode causar cicatrizes e manchas na pele, além disso, também pode causar efeitos psicológicos graves. Existem vários fatores para a manifestação de acne, porém, o mais comum é a carga hormonal, entre a variedade de acnes, a mais frequente é a acne vulgar que pode ser inflamatória ou não inflamatória, a acne tem um elevação maior a partir dos 11 anos e permanece nessa elevação até os 30 anos. Mas, poder ser mais recorrente no período da puberdade, ocasionando lesões de diferentes graus e aspectos. O óleo essencial de melaleuca tem sido uma alternativa eficaz para o tratamento de acne, conforme os estudos que estão sendo realizados, o óleo vem de uma árvore australiana chamada Melaleuca alternifólia, ele é usado como uma forma de tratamento que possui propriedades antibacterianas e antioxidantes, tem propriedades químicas e terapêuticas que são necessárias para combater a variedades de micro-organismos que desencadeiam a origem da acne. O objetivo, a princípio, foi realizar o tratamento com o óleo essencial de melaleuca em acnes nos grau II e III, usado para tratamento estético, pois através de levantamos de artigos e estudos, o óleo essencial é considerado seguro, pois age no combate de infecções bacterianas, tem propriedades ricas para a penetração tecidual.
