Abstract

Objetivo: descrever um relato de experiência sobre a análise de uma inconformidade no processo de doação de órgãos e desenvolvimento de uma ferramenta de controle de qualidade das etapas do processo de doação de órgãos. Métodos: estudo descritivo exploratório do tipo relato de experiência. Resultados: A revisão do processo de doação de órgãos identificou que falhas de comunicação verbal e escrita foram a principal causa da inconformidade no processo de doação de órgãos. Como resultado da análise, foi elaborado um documento do tipo um checklist para inclusão no prontuário de futuros potenciais doadores. Conclusões: Este estudo possibilitou a criação de ferramenta de qualidade para controle de falhas no processo de doação de órgãos e tecidos. A disponibilização pública de tal ferramenta possibilitará futuros estudos de implementação e avaliação da eficiência do checklist para prevenir falhas no processo de doação de órgãos no Brasil.
