Abstract
Hutan Lindung Kasinan merupakan hutan yang terletak di Desa Pesanggrahan Kecamatan Batu Kota Batu yang telah ditetapkan sebagai hutan konservasi. Hutan ini banyak ditumbuhi vegetasi jenis pohon Johar (Senna siamea) dan Gaharu (Aquilaria malaccensis). Hutan ini juga menjadi salah satu sumber air bagi masyarakat sekitar Pesanggrahan sehingga perlu dijaga kesehatan dan kelestariannya. Namun, beberapa aktivitas terakhir seperti pembukaan wisata alam Alas Kasinan (Alaska) berpotensi mengganggu habitat flora dan fauna mengingat banyak spesies tumbuhan yang dieksploitasi. Flora dan fauna yang ada disekitar wisata dapat terganggu, sehingga perlu adanya studi untuk menilai keadaan kenakeragaman hayati yang ada di dalam Hutan Lindung Kasinan. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menginventarisasi keanekaragaman jenis flora dan fauna yang ada di dalam Hutan Lindung Kasinan. Metode yang digunakan dalam studi ini yaitu observasi dan wawancara masyarakat serta literasi digital guna mendapatkan data. Hasil studi menunjukkan 29 spesies dari 27 famili telah teridentifikasi. Spesies flora Fabaceae dan banyak spesies burung hidup di Kawasan Hutan Lindung Kasinan. Spesies Pohon Johar (Senna siamea) menjadi spesies penting yang hidup karena memiliki nilai Indeks Nilai Penting (INP) tertinggi yaitu 74,80% yang dapat mengendalikan proses ekologis pada ekosistem Hutan Lindung Kasinan. Terdapat spesies yang menjadi pertanda baik bagi kondisi hutan yaitu adanya spesies Burung Elang Jawa (Nisaetus bartelsi) sebagai predator, Burung Cekakak Jawa (Javan kingfisher) sebagai indikator lingkungan yang asri, Capung Jarum (Ebony jewelwing) sebagai indikator kebersihan sumber air dan Burung Madu Sriganti (Nectarinia jugularas) yang dapat membantu proses perkembangbiakan tumbuhan.
