Techno-economic Analysis of a Hydrogen Refueling Station Located in Turin
Bibliographic record
Abstract
This paper presents a comprehensive technoeconomic analysis of a hydrogen refueling station in Turin, focusing on the feasibility and economic viability of integrating a photovoltaic system. The study explores the potential benefits of transitioning to fuel cell vehicles (FCVs) and the corresponding hydrogen infrastructure, considering the specific context of Turin. The results obtained from the analysis indicate the following key findings: For a small-size station that produces 54734 kg of H2 per year a photovoltaic system with a capacity of 3370 kW was identified as the optimal renewable energy source for hydrogen production. The project’s Net Present Cost (NPC) was calculated to be $\epsilon$5,078,913, considering the initial capital investment and operational costs over the project’s life cycle. The Levelized Cost of Hydrogen (LCOH) was estimated to be $\epsilon$7.31 per kilogram, indicating the average cost of hydrogen production. These results emphasize the potential environmental benefits and economic viability of transitioning to FCVs and renewable hydrogen production.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
