Ce recueil est la réédition légèrement remaniée d’une publication parue en 1989 (aux Dé bleu) ici accompagné d’un CD, car Saïd Mohamed, avec Arnaud Coutancier qui habille d’univers sonores variés et de ruptures mélodiques ces onze poèmes dits par l’auteur, ont créé un « Opéra murmuré », gratifié du Grand Prix 2022 de la commission Créations sonores de l'Académie Charles Cros et que les deux compères interprètent en public.
