Abstract
La integración de la tecnología en las empresas se ha convertido en una constante para sobrevivir en el ambiente competitivo mundial, esto implica un reto de reestructuración en la empresa, pero también una lucha en el ambiente tecnológico, político y social del país. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo identificar factores exógenos en el contexto empresarial mexicano que favorecen o inhiben la transformación digital. Se realiza una investigación documental longitudinal, descriptiva, que resalta elementos que frenan la transformación digital de las empresas y el ritmo desigual entre la morosidad en políticas públicas, el rezago del factor humano capacitado y el acelerado avance de la tecnología y el complicado reto que representa.
