Este artículo trata de afirmar, mediante la revisión de la bibliografía española existente, que no se encuentra suficientemente desarrollado el perfil profesional del Trabajo Social en las entidades no lucrativas de acción social, existiendo un "vacío" en la investigación sobre este tema, y por tanto consideramos necesario su inclusión en la investigación dentro de la disciplina.
