Abstract
El objetivo de este estudio fue evaluar el bienestar y la calidad de vida de los pacientes con enfermedades crónicas, así como determinar si la terapia ocupacional puede mejorar su calidad de vida. Se llevó a cabo una encuesta en línea a 200 pacientes con enfermedades crónicas, que presentó preguntas sobre su bienestar general, nivel de energía, calidad del sueño, capacidad para realizar actividades cotidianas y sociales, nivel de dolor y efectos secundarios del tratamiento médico. También se preguntó a los pacientes si recibieron terapia ocupacional en el último año. Los resultados mostraron que la mayoría de los pacientes reportaron niveles regulares de bienestar general y calidad de vida, y experimentaron cambios en su nivel de energía y dolor en los últimos meses. Además, una proporción significativa de pacientes experimentan problemas para dormir y limitaciones para realizar actividades cotidianas. En cuanto a la terapia ocupacional, se encontró que una minoría de pacientes había recibido este tipo de tratamiento en el último año.
