This paper presents a study to estimate the localization of autonomous service robot using an IMU sensor and BLE technology collected in a university campus environment. The collected data are processed through different well-known filters: Unscented Kalman Filter (UKF), Extended Kalman Filter (EKF), Complementary Filter, and Trilateration methods. The obtained results, show that the UKF method have the lowest mean squared error (MSE) of 0.31 m, followed by the EKF method with an MSE of 0.43 m. The Complementary Filter method has an MSE of 0.77 m and the Trilateration method have the highest MSE of 1.07 m. These findings suggest that the UKF and EKF methods are the most effective for localizing autonomous robot in this particular environment.
