Abstract The authors are based in Toronto, Canada. Alastair Cunningham is a senior scientist and psychologist at the Ontario Cancer Institute. His research interests include mind-body theory, and investigating the effects of adjunctive psychological therapy on quality and length of life in cancer patients. Catherine Phillips is a researcher and therapist with the Healing Journey Program at Princess Margaret Hospital. Joanne Stephen and Kimberley Watson are doctoral candidates and researchers with the Healing Journey Program.
