Abstract
Ce texte, à l’orée de la recherche et de la création, explore l’émergence du désir d’écrire dans sa relation avec le désir charnel de l’amant. L’objectif vise à mettre en lumière une parcelle du processus créatif de Marguerite Duras, qui s’enracine dans le désir d’écriture de la jeune fille deL’Amant(1984), dont le visage exprime la jouissance. Écrire, voire réécrire l’histoire de l’amant chinois énoncée une toute première fois dans le romanUn Barrage contre le Pacifique(1950), jusqu’à son ultime réécriture dansL’Amant de la Chine du Nord(1991) en réaction au filmL’Amant / The Loverdu cinéaste Jean-Jacques Annaud. Cette lecture, à la fois personnelle et intime, suivra le fil du désir d’écrire et son double, le désir charnel, au sein du récit de l’amant chinois et de ses modulations, tout en empruntant à d’autres exemples tirés de l’univers littéraire et filmique durassiens.
