Abstract
Ce rapport de cas démontre le diagnostic et la prise en charge appropriés de l’uvéite intermédiaire associée à la sclérose en plaques. Bien que l’uvéite ne soit pas une inflammation intraoculaire couramment associée à la sclérose en plaques, il faut évaluer les antécédents et effectuer une évaluation clinique des patients qui ont une uvéite intermédiaire afin d’exclure la sclérose en plaques. Cela est particulièrement important avant d’amorcer un traitement par inhibiteurs du TNF alpha dans les cas d’uvéite récalcitrante. Les fournisseurs de soins oculovisuels doivent savoir comment dépister la sclérose en plaques chez les patients qui ont une uvéite intermédiaire et connaître la prise en charge appropriée.
