Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Abstract:The present study aims to examine the extent of influence of certain demographic variables (such as the number of children and years of marriage), and extent of influence of certain some psychological variables (such as marital satisfaction and emotional acceptance) on Marital Silence and Alexithymia among a sample of couples in Al-Qassim region. It also aimed to investigate the association of marital silence and Alexithymia with marital satisfaction and emotional acceptance. The sample for this thesis consisted of (100) husbands and (131) wives from (231) married couples in Qassim region, and the data were chosen at random. Men generally had an age of (41.2) years old, while women were (35.8) years old on average. This is descriptive, correlational-comparative research, and the study tools are as follows: The Scale of Silence in a Marriage by Maha Abu Zneid (2015), Toronto Alexithymia (TAS-20) by Taylor, Bagby & Parker (1994), Test of Emotional Receptivity by Amira Al Sayed (2014), and Measure of Marital Happiness by Abdulraouf Al-Talaa and Mohammed Al-Sharif (2011). All necessary manipulations were performed to estimate the criterion validity of these tools. When applying the two-way analysis of variance (2 x 2) and the Pearson correlation coefficient (r), the findings revealed that there were statistical differences in marital silence and alexithymia due to the demographic variable and the length of years of marriage. Statistics show no difference with respect to the number of children. However, according to women's perceptions of marital happiness, there are statistically significant variations in marital silence and alexithymia as a result of psychological variables. Moreover, some psychological variables, such as marital happiness and emotional acceptance among men, have substantial statistical significance. Concerning the variable of women’s emotional acceptance, there are no significant statistical differences. Yet, among both men and women, there is a highly significant positive correlation between marital happiness and marital silence, and a negative correlation between emotional acceptance and marital silence. The study concluded by demonstrating that, while there is no statistically significant correlation between marital happiness, emotional acceptance, and alexithymia in women, there is a correlation between emotional acceptance and alexithymia in men. Keywords: marital silence, alexithymia, marital satisfaction, emotional acceptance, husbands and wives.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
