This community engagement activity discusses the crucial role of hospitality in the tourism andeconomic sectors, with a focus on the Lake Toba Tourism Area. The goal of this activity is to provide insights into the importance of hospitality in tourism development, emphasizing the need for training and education for Tourism Awareness Groups (Pokdarwis) in Samosir Regency, North Sumatra Province. The implementation method includes planning, material preparation, on-site execution, and evaluation. Tourism practitioners need to enhance their skills in this area. The implementation of hospitality concepts can improve customer satisfaction, generate significant economic benefits, and promote sustainability in the Lake Toba tourism destination. Hospitality encompasses several elements such as personal service, invitation, special relationships, touch, and comfort. There are challenges in mastering the concept of 'respect' in hospitality. However, the development of hospitality skills remains a key factor in enhancing the attractiveness and sustainability of tourism destinations, such as the Lake Toba region.
