Abstract
Abstract The University of Toronto Psoriatic Arthritis Clinic has provided a unique opportunity to study the course and prognosis of psoriatic arthritis as well as its pathogenesis and management. The Clinic was established by Dr Dafna Gladman in 1978, when it became apparent to her that the understanding of this disease was minimal. In 1976, an elaborate outpatient facility for patients with psoriasis was established by the late Dr Ricky Kanee Schachter at Women’s College Hospital in Toronto, Canada.
