PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN TENTANG PERTOLONGAN PERTAMA ASPIRASI BENDA ASING PADA ANAK TODDLER TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN IBU

Abstract
Pendahuluan: Kecelakaan pada toddler diantaranya adalah aspirasi benda asing. Anak toddler kemampuan mengeksplor lingkungan sekitar karena rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi. Jika anak dan orang tua mendapatkan informasi dan bimbingan antisipasi pencegahan kecelakaan, maka kecelakaan dapat dicegah. Studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan melalui kader didapatkan informasi bahwa kurang lebih 3 anak yang mengalami aspirasi benda asing dalam satu tahun terakhir. Data mengenai aspirasi benda asing juga didapatkan melalui wawancara terhadap 5 ibu yang berada di wilayah Candirejo mengatakan belum pernah mendapatkan informasi tentang penanganan aspirasi benda asing dari petugas kesehatan maupun media informasi lainnya. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui pengaruh Pendidikan kesehatan tentang aspirasi benda asing terhadap pengetahuan ibu. Metode: rancangan analitik komparatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah sampel penelitian ini adalah 36 ibu yangg mempunyai anak toddler (1-3 tahun) . Sebelum dilakukan pengambilan data terlebih dahulu dilakukan pemberian informed consent. Penelitian dilakukan dengan memberikan perlakuan melalui Pendidikan Kesehatan tentang pertolongan pertama aspirasi benda asing pada anak toddler. Pengukuran pengetahuan dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan Pendidikan Kesehatan. Hasil: ada perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan Pendidikan Kesehatan. Simpulan: Pendidikan kesehatan efektif mengingkatkan pengetahuan Ibu dalam pemberian pertolongan aspirasi pada anak. Karena itu, kegiatan pendidikan kesehatan dapat dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan sesuai kebutuhan masyarakat
