Abstract
« Écrire en rêve » (1990-1997) est une prose au titre programmatique, intimement liée à l’œuvre poétique en devenir d’Yves Bonnefoy en raison même du fait que des « récits en rêve » se sont multipliés jusqu’en 2014, rêves et rêveries y étant placés sous le regard critique et nourrissant une anamnèse au sein d’une écriture cherchant à faire converger poésie et prose, espérant accéder à une unité du réel qui serait dite par le langage de la poésie. Les manuscrits initiaux ici présentés montrent les enchevêtrements avec bien des écrits précédents d’Yves Bonnefoy, tout en préludant à certains développements de l’œuvre future. Brouillons, réécritures par amplification ou modifications nous éclairent sur le processus de création. Bonnefoy y articule ses analyses de l’expérience d’un lancinant besoin d’Ailleurs à l’évocation de ses premiers séjours en Italie (1949-1953) et s’interroge sur le fait que ses « récits en rêve » ont été traduits dans la langue italienne qui lui est proche.
