Abstract
La crise de l’éducation que nous connaissons s’inscrit dans une évolution des crises qui secouent la planète et qui semblent s’accélérer en ce début de XXIe siècle avec la menace de l’anthropocène et des pandémies. Penser l’éducation pour un monde meilleur semble plus que jamais nécessaire. En nous attachant à centrer nos propos sur l’éducation à la citoyenneté mondiale au regard de l’éducation complexe en référence aux travaux d’Edgar Morin, nous souhaitons par cette contribution apporter un éclairage en exposant les défis auxquels est confrontée l’éducation aujourd’hui, mais également les voies et un chemin d’espérance pour esquisser une issue à la crise du monde actuel. Notre propos s’accompagne d’apports théoriques qui permettent de mieux définir l’éducation à la citoyenneté mondiale, l’éducation complexe et la formation du citoyen, reliés à des terrains d’expérimentation qui permettent d’envisager des bases pour bâtir l’éducation d’un futur proche.
