(2023). Here we discuss these stratigraphic notes, which we are largely in agreement with, and explain why we maintain our interpretations. It is true that we did not subdivide the upper Kamik Formation into the two formations defined by McNeil et al. (2020). The Kipnik Formation is known only from two wells, which we did not use in our cross-sections. Further work should subdivide the strata that are...
