Abstract
Cet entretien revient sur une longue expérience de recherche collaborative dans le domaine émergent du cinéma autochtone : le colloque international Regards autochtones sur les Amériques, tenu depuis 2009 à Montréal et à Kahnawà:ke dans le cadre du Festival international Présence autochtone. L’entretien souligne le rôle du festival dans l’inscription des arts autochtones dans des lieux de légitimation clés de la métropole culturelle qu’est Montréal, puis la discussion se poursuit autour des moments de rencontre qui ont été créés afin de générer des échanges et des savoirs sur le cinéma autochtone à l’échelle locale, continentale et globale. En soi, il vise à dériver des connaissances sur une méthodologie de la recherche collaborative en milieu urbain.
