Création du prix Jean-SimardLa Société québécoise d'ethnologie (sqe) est fière d'annoncer la création du prix Jean-Simard.Cette récompense annuelle soulignera la qualité d'une action de sauvegarde ou de mise en valeur du patrimoine.Ce nouveau prix vise à promouvoir l'avancement et la diffusion des connaissances en ethnologie, à encourager la présence de cette discipline dans les milieux professionnels et communautaires ainsi qu'à reconnaître la contribution scientifique et sociale exceptionnelle de l'ethnologue dont il porte le nom.Professeur à l'Université Laval de 1972 à 2000, Jean Simard est spécialiste des arts et de la religion populaires.Il a participé activement au développement de ces champs de recherche et au rayonnement du patrimoine ethnologique du Québec.Réalisé par une personne, un groupe ou un organisme ayant intégré la perspective ethnologique au cœur de sa démarche, le projet primé doit s'être appuyé sur un travail de terrain et avoir fait rayonner l'approche ethnologique auprès du grand public.Il doit également avoir eu des retombées positives dans le milieu d'enquête et s'être inscrit dans une démarche citoyenne.Pour tous les détails, consultez le site de la sqe.215 Volume 21 -2023 Place publique Prix, honneurs et distinctions dédiée à l'artisanat en accordant une place de choix à l'artisanat textile, alors que la deuxième saison explore l'univers d'une vingtaine de musiciens et de musiciennes du Québec.
