Abstract
Setiap perjalanan kehidupan selalu diwarnai dengan berbagai peristiwa, entah peristiwa yang baik dan peristiwa yang tidak baik. Peristiwa yang baik memberi harapan untuk keharmonisan dapat tercipta. Sedangkan peristiwa yang tidak baik sering menjadi potensi terjadinya suatu koflik. Dalam konteks untuk menjaga keharmonisan tetap continue dalam hidup bermasyarakat, persahabatan dan persaudaraan menjadi hal penting yang harus diperhatikan dan dikembangkan. Tahta Suci telah menguluarkan salah satu dokumen resmi Gereja yaitu ensiklik Fratelli Tutti (FT) sebagai pedoman bagi umat beriman agar senantiasa mengusahakan suatu kehidupan yang diliputi dengan rasa persahabatan dan persaudaraan demi meciptakan suatu keharmonisan dalam hidup berdampingan dengan sesama lain. FT menjadi sarana untuk menemukan dasar iman yang jelas yang mana mengarahkan umat beriman untuk senantiasa mengusahakan dan memperjuangkan persaudaraan dan persahabatan sosial terutama melalui kasih, dialog, dan toleransi secara nyata.
