Abstract
Réfugiée à Issy-l’Évêque, en Saône-et-Loire, où elle est partie retrouver ses deux filles au début du mois de mai 1940, Irène Némirovsky a composé pendant la guerre vingt-sept nouvelles, dont certaines empruntent des chemins de traverse qu’elle a jusqu’alors peu fréquentés ; dans cette optique, on s’attachera à la manière dont, avant Suite française, l’écriture de Némirovsky se renouvelle lorsqu’elle prend, d’une façon ou d’une autre, la guerre pour objet.
