Abstract
This chapter contains an edited dialogue between Dr. Naheed Dosani and editor Carrie Arnold. Dr. Dosani is a Canadian palliative care physician, health justice activist, and assistant professor, who was invited to offer his expertise and activism regarding homelessness. The chapter is designed to be a candid yet informative conversation to explore the issues related to those who are unhoused, and the subsequent lack of accessible health care and palliative care. Sharing his experience, knowledge, and innovative collaborative partnership, the Palliative Education and Care for the Homeless (PEACH) programme, Dr. Dosani demonstrates that providing humane, compassionate, and effective health care and end-of-life care is possible for those who experience homelessness.
