Abstract
Este artigo busca relacionar o cabelo crespo e a infância através de uma perspectiva interseccional, utilizando a discussão do filme “Felicidade por um Fio” e da animação curta-metragem “Hair Love”. Em primeiro lugar, foi apresentado o conceito de interseccionalidade e de infância em afroperspectiva. Posteriormente, foram elencadas algumas reflexões sobre as obras: Felicidade por um fio e Hair Love, ressaltando as potencialidades das crianças negras. Buscamos situar a infância como pilar existencial imprescindível para se pensar relações étnico-raciais em diáspora, masculinidades plurais, transgeracionalidade e gênero, vislumbrando novas produções epistemológicas, estéticas e políticas que se distanciem das elaborações subjetivas coloniais. Os saberes de crianças negras que não passaram por procedimentos de alisamentos compulsórios em sua infância são fundamentais para pensar novas perspectivas epistêmicas pluriversais. A valorização da estética de cabelos crespos em crianças negras pode influenciar a descolonização ao romper com o embranquecimento enquanto estratégia de controle de corporeidades negras.
