Abstract
A análise sobre a iluminação de um ambiente é mais abrangente se, além do levantamento das condições ambientais, a percepção dos usuários for considerada. Assim, a pesquisa relatada neste artigo teve como objetivo confrontar e analisar dados de iluminância em salas de aula, obtidos através de medições e simulação computacional da iluminação natural, com a percepção de conforto visual relatada por alunos com idade entre 8 e 11 anos, no clima quente e úmido. O método adotado integra levantamento de campo, simulação computacional da iluminação com o programa Apolux e aplicação de questionários com alunos na faixa etária de 8 a 11 anos. A faixa etária escolhida corresponde a alunos do ensino fundamental, com habilidade de leitura e escrita. Sobre os resultados destaca-se: a) a grande maioria dos alunos considera a sala de aula clara ou muito clara (menor percentual foi de 53%); b) relatos frequentes de dificuldade em enxergar informações no quadro e sobre a mesa decorrem da incidência de sol, seguido pela observação de iluminação insuficiente; c) os resultados obtidos com os questionários convergem com os dados da simulação, a escola onde 89% dos alunos percebe a sala como “clara ou muito clara” coincide com maiores iluminâncias; d) reflexos sobre o quadro também são problemas apontados com mais frequência nos ambientes onde as iluminâncias são maiores.
