Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This work presents a novel micropositioner with 3 degrees-of-freedom (DOF) based on attractive electrostatic forces. The proposed micropositioner is anchored at two distinct points and suspended through a pair of curved shaped beams. The behavior of the micropositioner is studied through numerical simulations and experimental measurements. It is fabricated with a device layer of 59 μm and Silicon Nitride (SiN) optical waveguides are integrated onto its suspended structure. The experimental results indicate that the micropositioner can provide displacements of ±1 μm, 1.2 μm, and 0.65 μm along the x, y, and z axes, respectively, when activated by a DC voltage of 70 V. Therefore, this micropositioner holds great promise for applications requiring versatile positioning capability.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
