Abstract
Merek dagang adalah aset penting untuk dilindungi sebagai bagian dari upaya untuk suatu produk dengan produk lainnya. Pentingnya perlindungan ini tidak hanya untuk para pelaku usaha besar namun juga para pelaku usaha UMKM. Selama ini, para pengusaha UMKM lebih mementingkan berjualan terlebih dahulu daripada melindungi merek dagangnya. Program Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perlindungan merk dagang dan pemasaran UMKM Desa Mayang Kecamatan Gatak Kabupaten Sukoharjo.
 Tahapan kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah melakukan pembinaan dan pelatihan pada anggota kelompok masyarakat atau UMKM yang ada di Desa Desa Mayang Kecamatan Gatak Kabupaten Sukoharjo tentang kepemilikan hak kekayaan intelektual oleh masyarakat khususnya merek produk kuliner di Desa Mayang Kecamatan Gatak Kabupaten Sukoharjo, selanjutnya melakukan pendampingan dalam pemasaran. Keseluruhan kegiatan dilaksanakan oleh Tim.
 Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat memberikan hasil peningkatan kepemilikan hak kekayaan intelektual oleh UMKM Desa Mayang Kecamatan Gatak Kabupaten Sukoharjo, selanjutnya melakukan pendampingan dalam pemasaran.
