PDF | Tubos de alta resistência podem ser produzidos com excelência em tolerâncias dimensionais, rapidez e eficiência através do processo HFIW (High Frequency Induction Welding). Os tubos API 5L 6 5/8 X 0,374 pol. foram produzidos a partir de chapas finas laminadas e bobinadas a quente nas dimensões 9,300 X 1040,0 X 140000 mm. Foram realizados ensaios mecânicos, químicos e microestruturais. A análise microestrutural detectou a presença de ferrita e perlita. Foi verificado que todos os resultados estão de acordo com a norma API 5L, 44a Edição, 2008 para o grau API 5L X70 PSL2 Offshore.
