PDF | A cada ano é notória a evolução do Sistema de Gestão da ArcelorMittal Brasil - Unidade Cariacica. Em 2004, a unidade participou do Prêmio Qualidade - ES e já no seu primeiro ciclo obteve o reconhecimento externo do seu modelo de gestão, sendo premiada na Categoria Ouro. Dando continuidade ao atendimento da Diretriz "Buscar a excelência no seu Modelo de Gestão", em 2005 nos inscrevemos ao Prêmio Nacional da Qualidade. Mais uma vez, obtivemos sucesso, e tivemos já na primeira vez a satisfação de sermos selecionados para a terceira etapa do referido prêmio - Etapa da Visita, após concorremos com 41 empresas instaladas em todo território nacional. Em 2006, nos inscrevemos novamente ao Prêmio Nacional da Qualidade e fomos reconhecidos com o “Destaque no Critério de Excelência Pessoas”. O presente trabalho possui como objetivo descrever a trajetória de evolução do Sistema de Gestão da ArcelorMittal Cariacica, bem como suas práticas, que estão voltadas para o caminho da excelência. Acreditamos na gestão e nas pessoas que fazem parte desta história construída até agora e que nos levarão a resultados cada vez melhores. O método utilizado foi o PDCA.
