PDF | O trabalho mostra a evolução das inspeções visuais através de endoscópios refrigerados, adequados a ambientes em alta temperatura desde as primeiras inspeções executadas na década de 90 até os dias atuais. Outrora utilizado como um método pioneiro que atraía a atenção mais por curiosidade do que em si uma forma de diagnóstico, a endoscopia em alta temperatura transformou-se em uma ferramenta de decisão dos departamentos de manutenção, possibilitando uma programação mais precisa para as paradas de manutenção e reformas prolongando campanha de fornos e equipamentos diversos.
