Abstract
Makrofungi merupakan satu diantara berbagai jenis organisme yang berperan penting dalam menjaga keseimbangan dan kelestarian alam. Makrofungi berperan sebagai dekomposer bersama dengan bakteri dan beberapa spesies protozoa, sehingga banyak membantu proses dekomposisi bahan organik untuk mempercepat siklus materi dalam ekosistem hutan. Data tentang keberadaan makrofungi khususnya di Kecamatan Sepauk Kabupaten Sintang masih terbatas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujan untuk mengetahui jenis makrofungi di Dusun Sempetang Desa Sirang Setambang Kecamatan Sepauk Kabupaten Sintang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah adalah metode eksplorasi, yaitu melalui penjelajahan di seluruh lokasi pengamatan. Penempatan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara purposive sampling dengan mempertimbangkan perbedaan karakteristik habitat. Hasil penelitian lapangan ditemukan 15 spesies makrofungi yaitu Pycnoporus sanguineus, Daldinia concentrica, Pleurotus sp., Schizophyllum commune, Auricularia auricula, Volvariella sp., Clitocybe decembris, Hygrocybe conica, Gomphidius glutinosus, Trametes elegans, Polyporus arcularius, Daedalea quercina, Ganoderma sp., Marasmiellus candidus, dan Rigidoporus microporus.
