Abstract
L’article présente une recherche menée en réponse à la commande d’une municipalité d’Île-de-France ayant obtenu le label du programme national Cités éducatives, destiné à développer les partenariats territoriaux en faveur de la «réussite éducative». Cette recherche, conduite avec une pluralité d’actrices et acteurs concernés, porte plus spécifiquement sur un dispositif d’accompagnement au travail personnel (ATP) de l’élève, qui a pour objectif explicite de soutenir l’autonomie des élèves en impliquant un collège, une association et un service municipal. L’article analyse l’ambivalence des usages et la variété des représentations de la notion d’autonomie par les différentes parties impliquées dans le dispositif. Il montre l’enjeu organisationnel que constitue le consensus entre structures partenaires à propos de la centralité de la notion d’autonomie mais aussi les conceptions et appropriations très contrastées qu’en ont les actrices et acteurs concernant sa dimension pédagogique.
