Design of coupled Helmholtz resonator with rectangular enclosure to mitigate low frequency noise in recording booths
Bibliographic record
Abstract
This study summarizes theoretical and experimental findings for low frequency noise mitigation in small recording booths using coupled Helmholtz resonators. The room acoustical resonance modes were identified using ANSYS simulation software for the recording booth. An experimental setup validated the existence of the different low frequency modes and variation from theoretical results due to the enclosure wall's surface material. Microphone and speaker system were used to measure the room frequency response at the resonant frequencies. Piezoelectric sensors were placed at different positions within the room to determine the location of resonance peaks and the optimized position for the coupled Helmholtz resonator. The effects of damping on the Helmholtz resonator frequency response and deviation from theoretical design formulae were explored. The resonator apparatus proved to attenuate noise to half as loud in the selected low frequency range within the recording booth.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
