ACİL SERVİSTE ÇALIŞAN HEMŞİRELERİN EMPATİ DÜZEYLERİ VE ALEKSİTİMİ VARLIĞI ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract
Amaç: Bu araştırma Kütahya Sağlık Bilimleri Üniversitesi Evliya Çelebi Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi acil servisinde çalışan hemşirelerin empati düzeyleri ve aleksitimi varlığı arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı tipteki bu araştırmanın evrenini Kütahya Sağlık Bilimleri Üniversitesi Evliya Çelebi Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi acil servisinde çalışan hemşireler oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada Örneklem seçme yöntemine gidilmemiş olup araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden 90 hemşire ile çalışma tamamlanmıştır. Veri toplama araçları olarak sosyo-demografik özelikleri belirleyen “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve “Toronto Aleksitimi Ölçeği” “Empatik Eğilim Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Çalışma 01.10.2020-01.01.2021 tarihleri arasında çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden hemşirelerden toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde tanımlayıcı istatistikler için sayı ve yüzde dağılımlarına bakılmıştır. Veriler normal dağılım gösterdiği için ileri istatistiksel analizlerde parametrik testlerden iki ortalama arasındaki farkın önemlilik testi (t testi) ve ANOVA kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Çalışmaya toplamda 90 hemşire katılmıştır. Çalışmaya katılan hemşirelerin %36.7’si 18-24 yaş aralığında, %53.3’ü kadın, %72.2’sinin eğitim durumu lisans ve üstü eğitimdir. Hemşirelerin %60’ı bekar ve %50.7’sinin çocuğu yok, %56.7’sinin meslek deneyim süresi 0-5 yıl arasıdır. Katılımcıların %63.3’ü hemşirelik mesleğini isteyerek seçtiğini beyan etmiş ve %82.2’si ise acil serviste gönüllü çalıştıklarını bildirmişlerdir. Hemşirelerin Toronto Aleksitimi Ölçeği puan ortalaması 56.27±7.24 (orta düzeyde), Empatik eğilim ölçeği puan ortalaması ise 66.66±6.44 (orta düzeyde) bulunmuştur.
