Abstract
Latar Belakang: Quarter-life crisis adalah sebuah fase transisi dari masa remaja menuju masa dewasa yang terjadi mulai dari usia 20 tahun. Pada masa transisi ini, seseorang dianggap sudah dewasa dan mampu untuk hidup mandiri dengan pilihan hidup masing-masing, namun secara emosi dan finansial belum stabil. Promosi kesehatan adalah salah satu metode pencegahan yang bisa digunakan contohnya adalah media audio. Penelitian ini menggunakan podcast dan musik sebagai promosi kesehatan untuk quarter-life crisis dan sasarannya adalah mahasiswa Universitas Airlangga Surabaya. Tujuan: Untuk membandingkan efektifitas podcast dan musik sebagai media promosi kesehatan terkait pemberian pengetahuan quarter-life crisis. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental semu dan sasarannya adalah mahasiswa Universitas Airlangga Surabaya angkatan 2016-2020 dengan total sampel sebanyak 200 responden. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan Lemeshow dari Stanley Lemeshow (1997). Penelitian ini menggunakan pengukuran uji T berpasangan dan independent sample t-test. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan antara kelompok podcast dan musik. Hasil efektivitas media menunjukkan bahwa media podcast lebih efektif dibandingkan musik dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media podcast dan musik bisa menjadi stimulus dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, namun media podcast lebih efektif dibandingkan musik terkait pemberian pengetahuan quarter-life crisis. Kesimpulan: Media podcast dan musik bisa menjadi stimulus dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, namun media podcast lebih efektif dibandingkan musik terkait pemberian pengetahuan quarter-life crisis.
