O presente artigo discorre sobre a importância do design e do Designer Gráfico no processo de criação de identidade visual, com a finalidade maior de dar destaque a empresa ou serviço, no mercado em que atua. Além disso, destacar aspectos importantes que devem fazer parte de uma identidade visual consistente e com urna imagem receptiva à primeira vista. Para isso, a pesquisa bibliográfica e as análises, devem exemplificar e oferecer as ferramentas necessárias que comprovem que urna identidade visual elaborada a partir de conceitos essenciais para sua criação contribui para um plano de trabalho mais complexo e estratégico, ou seja, o branding.
