This paper explores the key applications of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in the field of marine surveying. GIS, as a powerful geospatial analysis tool, has played a significant role in marine surveying and ocean resource management. This paper begins by introducing the basic concepts of GIS and the importance of marine surveying.
