Robotic manipulators have become increasingly critical in various space missions, such as on-orbit servicing and orbital debris removal, due to their high technical readiness level.They are designed to perform highly repetitive tasks that are too timeconsuming, risky, and expensive for astronauts.They also require less infrastructure than human astronauts, such as life support systems, making them preferable in space.
