Effect of streamwise length on the wake characteristics of elongatedbluff bodies with small ground clearance
Bibliographic record
Abstract
This paper analyzes the effect of streamwise length on the flow characteristics of elongated bluff bodies with small ground clearance using the Reynolds stress turbulence model. A fully developed turbulent boundary layer approach flow was specified as the inlet condition. Three cases with different elongation ratios (L/h) were considered for this analysis and a fourth case was employed for the validation of the simulation. Case A had an elongation ratio (L/h) of 1.0 while cases B and C had L/h of 2.0 and 3.0, respectively. The simulation was conducted at a Reynolds number Reh of 22500 for all cases. The mean velocities and Reynolds stresses are evaluated to gain a physical understanding of the flow dynamics around the bodies. The results showed that the flow passes over the body without any visible flow reattachment along its surface for case A. Cases B and C demonstrated flow reattachment occurring upstream of the trailing edge. However, in case B, the flow reattachment was of a shorter length and closer in proximity to the trailing edge.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
