Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This paper reports the authors' teaching experience in the 4th year of the master's degree in architecture at the School of Architecture of the University of Lisbon in 2021-2022, in face of the challenge of guiding the students to develop ideas about parts of the city located on the opposite bank of the Tagus River, within the discipline of Architectural Design, in a socioeconomic context strongly marked by tourism. It begins with a presentation of the school context, characterizing the 4th year pedagogical framework, the project problem, and the intervention site.It then reveals the difficulties and resistance faced by the students, as well as the strategies developed to overcome them. Finally, it launches into reflection on the role of Design professor as the one who provides the conditions for the creation of knowledge from the exploration of the discipline's own tools.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
