Abstract
O artigo apresenta o texto da Conferência realizada no 17º Congresso Mundial de Musicoterapia, em Vancouver, Canadá, no dia 28 de julho de 2023. O trabalho apresentado, intitulado “Inclusion in Music Therapy: Challenges and News Perspectives”, tratou a respeito da formulação e implementação de políticas nacionais para o reconhecimento do trabalho do musicoterapeuta no Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) e no Sistema Único de Assistência Social (SUAS) e políticas institucionais que promovem a inclusão de participantes em atendimentos de musicoterapia e de estudantes na Universidade Estadual do Paraná (UNESPAR). Outros aspectos abordados foram a respeito do trabalho dos Centros de Educação em Direitos Humanos da Unespar (CEDH) e seus Núcleos: NERA (Núcleo de Relações Étnico-Raciais), NERG (Núcleo de Relações de Gênero) e NESPI (Núcleo de Educação Especial e Inclusiva), a metodologia do "Grupo aberto em Musicoterapia", implementado pela Profa. Dra. Rosemyriam Cunha e o trabalho realizado no Centro de Atendimentos e Pesquisa em Musicoterapia “Clotilde Leinig”.
