Abstract
Les archives criminelles de la mairie de Dijon regorgent d’informations, enquêtes et procès intentés à ses justiciables tout au long du xve siècle. Cette richesse documentaire permet de suivre les parcours judiciaires d’individus régulièrement impliqués dans des affaires délictuelles voire criminelles, qui peuvent aller jusqu’à nécessiter l’obtention de la rémission du duc de Bourgogne. L’objet de cet article est d’étudier les trajectoires de plusieurs hommes dans la seconde moitié du xve siècle afin d’établir des liens entre les différentes affaires dans lesquelles ils sont impliqués. Les rares condamnations dont ils font l’objet amènent également à s’interroger sur leurs origines, l’examen des sources montrant qu’ils appartiennent ou sont liés pour la plupart aux élites dirigeantes. Enfin, la densité des archives conservées démontre que les démêlées de ces individus avec la justice n’entament pas toujours durablement leur capital honorifique.
