Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Bidirectional converters are used to interface two independent voltage sources so that power can be transferred from one to another in either direction. This chapter presents various non-isolated and isolated DC–DC bidirectional converters and explains their operating principles. It discusses methods for implementing ZVS operation in these converters as well. Using operational principles that are similar to buck ZVS quasi-square wave converter, converter with low-side voltage source can be made to operate as a ZVS boost converter. Any isolated bidirectional converter can be considered to be dual active bridge converter if both bridges are active during a switching cycle. Triangular and trapezoidal-based modulation methods are rarely used as these methods in resonant dual active bridge converters as they limit the converters' ability to operate with ZVS. Bidirectional converters are used to interface independent voltage sources so that power can be transferred from one source to another in either direction.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
