Abstract
Cet article présente le « Star Model » couramment mobilisé en stratégie (Kates et Galbraith, 2007), et plus récemment en gestion de projet, afin d’analyser une entité organisationnelle gérant des projets (organisation, direction ou bureau de projet). Les piliers de ce modèle en étoile sont les capacités organisationnelles, les talents, le système de récompense, les processus et la structure. Un exemple inspiré d’un cas réel permet de faire une analyse sommaire d’une organisation en milieu événementiel, et d’utiliser une grille d’analyse pour proposer un plan d’action afin d’opérer les changements organisationnels permettant une gestion de projet plus adaptée à l’organisation et à son contexte. Les principales contributions de l’article sont d’ordre théorique, avec pour objectif de faire ressortir l’importance des interrelations à la limite des champs disciplinaires de la gestion de projet, de la stratégie et de la gestion de changement. Il a aussi des visées pratiques, comme le modèle et la grille d’analyse sont des outils réflexifs pouvant être utilisés par des gestionnaires ou analystes dans divers contextes organisationnels.
