La pandémie de COVID-19 a pris tout le monde par surprise. Que ce soit sur le marché du travail ou dans d’autres sphères d’activité, les impacts ont été déterminants pour tout un chacun. Nous constatons toutefois, dans cette recherche, que non seulement le télétravail en tant que changement organisationnel a eu droit à une avancée fulgurante, mais qu’également, les impacts positifs se sont fait sentir concrètement dans la vie professionnelle et personnelle des gens. La littérature nous propose déjà une panoplie d’articles démontrant les enjeux, les avantages, l’historique de ce concept de travail, mais aucun n’étudie le travailleur dans ce contexte. Le sujet central de notre étude est de placer l’accomplissement des télétravailleurs au coeur des éléments clés de ce changement organisationnel afin de mesurer les impacts, favorables ou défavorables, qu’il suscite. Par l’analyse des résultats, nous voulons démontrer par plusieurs aspects tels que la rémunération, la performance au travail, les ambitions professionnelles des télétravailleurs, la conciliation travail-famille–vie personnelle, la réalisation de soi, le sentiment d’appartenance, l’avancement professionnel et la motivation au quotidien, si la population au Québec considère le télétravail comme un accélérateur à leur accomplissement personnel et professionnel. Les résultats démontrent qu’il existe un lien fort entre ce changement organisationnel imprévu et forcé. Les gens expriment une grande satisfaction à inclure ce nouveau mode de travail à leur quotidien et souhaitent qu’il s’inscrive de manière pérenne dans l’organisation du travail.
