Desde as primeiras semanas de gestação, a mulher precisa de acompanhamento médico, denominado Pré-natal, onde o profissional de saúde, solicita exames para monitorar a saúde da gestante e do feto. Este monitoramento é necessário para evitar situações de maior risco que oportunamente podem trazer consequências para a saúde materna e do feto. Este artigo busca realizar uma revisão sistemática para analisar a importância do íon ferro e das vitaminas B9 E B12, na saúde da gestação e do feto. Trata-se de um estudo de revisão sistemática elaborada segundo o modelo PRISMA (preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta analyses). Foram analisados artigos com estudos publicados entre 2013 e 2023, abrangendo um período de 10 anos. Resultados e Discussão: Após a realização da pesquisa foram encontrados nas bases de dados 572 estudos, sendo 176 do banco de dados Scielo e 396 da BVS. Após a análise e exclusão dos estudos levando em consideração os critérios de elegibilidade empregados, resultaram 15 artigos para a composição desse estudo. Através do desenvolvimento dessa Revisão Sistemática foi possível compreender a importância da suplementação de ferro e da vitamina B9 e B12 durante o pré-natal, bem como os fatores associados a ausência do seu consumo, as consequências dessa carência para a gestante e para o feto, bem como as orientações do farmacêutico durante o atendimento às gestantes.
