Abstract
This volume of Florilegium marks the fortieth anniversary of the journal’s initial publication in 1979 by either reprinting or publishing for the first time the addresses that have been delivered to the society by its past presidents up to the year 2019. After providing a brief overview of the journal’s history, the introduction discusses the context and contents of the addresses that we have collected here.
