Abstract
This article is a reflection on socio-economic balancing in business management in an African context. Based on a theoretical argument, two tracks are exposed: the approach of conciliating mechanism and that of coupling/decoupling. Following the steps of the first approach, the thesis defended is that the reconciliation of social and economic objectives is based on a "subtle balancing" between inclusion in social structures and detachment from non-economic obligations, which can present themselves as obstacles to entrepreneurial projects. We then note that the coupling is never completely acquired, since it can lead to decoupling.
