Discurso neoliberal na representação das propostas legislativas de alteração da Política Nacional de Saneamento Básico (Lei nº 11.445/2007)

Abstract
O texto analisa os discursos proferidos por parlamentares que foram favoráveis às alterações impostas pela Lei nº 14.026/2020 na Política Nacional de Saneamento Básico. A partir da Análise Crítica de Discurso (Fairclough, 2019, 2003), dialogando com Dardot e Laval (2016), Harvey (2016, 2014) e Brown (2019, 2015), analisou-se o discurso de dois deputados federais e de dois senadores, identificando as representações constituídas e as ideologias que permearam suas defesas, em prol da participação do capital privado para a universalização dos serviços de abastecimento de água e de esgotamento sanitário. Os achados dão conta que nos discursos analisados são construídas representações ideológicas neoliberais que intentam desqualificar as Companhias Estaduais, silenciando a importância delas, na provisão dos serviços de abastecimento de água e de esgotamento sanitário.
